We are Stef and Matt.
We’re from the same small town in Minnesota and are now raising our two children here. Besides a brief middle school “romance,” we didn’t connect until returning home from college. That’s when we realized our love for each other and our shared passion for being creative.   

We love to collaborate on projects when we can, but our artistic passions are quite distinct.
Matt likes to play in dirt and mud while creating beautiful landscapes and making pottery.
Stef likes to keep her fingernails clean and polished while taking photos and designing brands.
Mud & Magnolia is the combination of our talents - earthy, elegant and fun.
